Back to the original January date, the Romsey 5 Mile Run is set within the beautiful grounds of The Broadlands Estate, once the home of The Earl Mountbatten of Burma. The surface is mainly tarmac with a short distance of smooth hardcore. The course is 3 laps of the estate making it one of the flattest 5 mile races in the county and as such attracts athletes from further afield looking for a PB time. This running event is also perfect for first timers just starting out and wanting to try their first race.
The course will be officially measured by a UKA official and a leisurely mass start time of 9am. There will be one water station positioned along the route and competitors will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt as they cross the line.
Award presentations will be after the race and presented to the 1st to 3rd placed competitors (male and female) and 1st male and female in age group categories.
The kids race is back for 2022! 2km distance and starting at 11am - this race has everything for the whole family!
Event provides Chip timing and photography so who will be joining us for 2022?!
